Pre Consultation

Every project begins with an on-site pre-consultation meeting — a dedicated time for us to sit down with you, walk the space, and truly understand what you’re looking to achieve. During this meeting, we review your project scope, budget, and timeline to make sure we’re aligned from the start. We’ll ask the right questions to uncover your vision, distinguish your must-haves from your wish list, and identify any potential challenges before work begins. By the end of this meeting, you’ll have a clear picture of the process ahead, and we’ll have everything we need to put together an accurate, detailed proposal tailored specifically to your project.

Feasibility Study and Zoning Research

Following the pre-consultation meeting, our team conducts a thorough review of applicable provincial building codes and local municipal zoning by-laws to confirm project feasibility and to ensure the design progress as smoothly as possible.

Design Development

Using notes from the pre-consultation meeting and feasibility study, our team prepares a preliminary design concept for your review. This gives you the opportunity to play an active role in the process before we deliver the final design package.

Construction Documentation

Once the design has been finalized and approved, our team prepares the detailed construction documents required for all necessary approvals – including site plan approval and building permit submissions – along with the full technical information contractors need to price and complete the project.

Permit Submission and Planning Approval

After a through final review of all drawings and supporting documents, our team will prepare and submit your building permit application package to the local municipality along with any additional planning approvals that may be required for your project.

Construction

When all permits have been approved and construction is underway, our team will remain closely involved your chosen contractor to offer support and address any questions that may arise.

Post Construction Walk-Through

Once construction is complete and your project is ready for occupancy, we complete a final walk-through with you to ensure everything meets your expectations and that you are fully satisfied with the finished result.
